The heat is on folks! Welcome to SUMMER!
2016 has been a strong year, the likes of which we haven’t seen for some time now. All the projections predicted are panning out: home prices are rising, mortgage remain low, it’s a seller’s market, credit is loose, and foreclosures have returned to norms.
Developments here in our local corner of the world are as exciting as ever! Pensacola is making some major changes, with plans finally released for the new Pensacola Bay Bridge. Officials project it will ease traffic to and from Gulf Breeze, and designs show pedestrian and bike traffic will enjoy their own separate lanes. See more info on the plans in the news links below!
Perhaps even more relevant however, our beaches are getting a complete overhaul. As we speak, the Pensacola Beach renourishment is underway. Trucks and dredging ships are out in the Gulf replenishing the beachside to expand its width, shore up the island and protect against erosion. Get out there and take advantage of this great opportunity for shelling!
